The Backcountry Ski Android App by RESETgame has beautiful 3D graphics but unfortunately the controls are not quite there yet. The full version of the game includes 24 trails to ski through. The object of each trail is to ski down the mountain to your camp. In order to find your camp simply go in the direction of the smoke while watching out for trees, cliffs and avalanches. Each time you crash you will lose some of your health.

The graphics are very well done but only having good graphics does not make a good game. The controls are pretty simple: swipe up to move forward, swipe down to brake, swipe left to go left and swipe right to go right. If you get too much speed and you go off of a cliff your character will fly into the air, get some unrealistic distance and then land flawlessly. There is no real challenge to this game which is disappointing because it does have potential.

Overall, the game’s graphics are very well done but the controls and unrealistic jumps make this game not a good one to recommend buying. At the time of this review the Backcountry Ski Android App is $4.99. Thumbs Down.
