Minutes Tracker Android App Review
AndroidAppReviewer | Apr 11, 2009 | Comments 1
Minutes Tracker Android App by Hollowire Inc allows you to track how many minutes you use so that you don’t go over your plan and incur overages. When you first load the app you will be asked to choose from a list of monthly plans. Once you have selected your plan press the Done button on the display screen. You will then be taken to a screen with a gauge on it. This will display how many minutes you have used. There is also a digital display on the gauge for more accuracy. The display is pretty cool and creative. It looks like a gauge from a car. If you want to exclude a contact in your phone (if you have a fave plan) for a more accurate reading, simply press the menu button and select the Exclude Contacts option. Overall, this app is a great quick reference for tracking minutes. There is a lot of potential for this app. One feature that would be cool is the ability to track how many minutes per contact. At the time of this review this app is $0.99. Thumbs up.

We are the developers of Minutes Tracker. Firstly, thanks for the great review.
As for the tracking minutes per contact, not sure what would be the practical use for that.
Our goal is to help you find an optimal plan. If you are always going over your peak minutes usage or under, we will help you figure out whether your current plan serves your need.
That said, later this week will be launching version 2 that will sync with the carrier and provide a nifty charting feature that will allow you to compare monthly minutes usage to determine your optimal plan.
We will also be releasing widgets for dxTop and aHome.
Lastly, we have launched our second Android app, which is a grocery shopping app called ShopALot. It uses barcode scanning to build a grocery list and many more features. Do check it out:
