How did you get into developing apps?

I graduated from New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business in May 2008. I have been evaluating my post-MBA career options. The economic down-turn shut many career options, but opened up the critical one I have been searching for. I hold BS and MS degrees in Computer Science. I have developed, manged and sold applications and consulting service to Fortune 500 companies. My avid interest in technology, experience with technology industry and software development along with new found MBA know-how led me to developing Apps. I chose Android due to the potential market share Android can capture.
