The Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde Android App by Green Eye GmbH is a hidden object game for the Android platform. This game is based on the Dr. Jekll and Mr. Hyde book. The story line has a great deal of presence throughout the game. The first time you play the game you will be able to watch the prelude to the investigation that you are about to take part in. Throughout the game the story unfolds in the form of images with the character who is telling the story’s picture with the text for you to read.

There are 30 scenes where you will need to find the hidden objects listed on the bottom of the screen. You will only be able to click on an object to “find” it when it appears in the list. You get 5 hints per scene which you can use if you can’t find an item on the list. In each scene you will need to find about 20 items and a specific clue. Once you have completed a scene you will get to play a mini game with the clues that you have found.

Each scene has really nice graphics and a lot of detail. This game is like an interactive story where you get to find the clues yourself instead of reading about a character in the book finding them. Unlike other mobile hidden object games, you do not collect objects in this game to use in order places which could be a pretty cool feature to add to a sequel if the developer creates one.

Overall, this game will take a little bit of time to beat but it’s not too difficult which is good if you are looking for a casual hidden object game with a great story line for your Android device. Even on a phone screen this game was fun to play. The developer did a great job of designing the game so that the objects are large enough to see on a phone screen. The ability to scroll around each scene allows you to get a similar quality of gaming experience on a phone that you would have if you were able to view each entire scene on a tablet screen. It also adds a bit of difficulty to the game because you will need to really search for each item and clue.
