Sony has announced it is officially entering what is quickly becoming an ultra competitive market, the Android Tablet market. Codenamed S1 and S2 Sony’s new tablet entries will be anything but ordinary iPad shaped tablets. Both tablets will sport PlayStation licensing and will be able to support whatever PlayStation games that can be ported over to and Android via an emulator.
The S1 is a dual core tablet closer to the 10.1’ size than anything else, and is designed like a magazine that has been folded behind. This is in order to help the tablet feel better while only using one hand to hold it. The S2 device is a unique device, because it is a clamshell device with two separate 5inch screens that can be joined, image wise, to make a 10 inch screen the clamshell tablet can be used vertically and horizontally.
