Radio Shack drops T-Mobile, Picks up Verizon

Is it safe to say the AT&T – T-Mobile merger is all but done is a longshot. However the fact that Radio Shack has just dropped T-Mobile in favor of Big Red (Verizon) does not bode well for T-Mobile if the merger does not happen to go through. Radio Shack claims that Parent Company of T-Mobile USA, Deutsche Telekom, had materially breached the contract with Radio Shack.
No further details were made available. This comes only six months after Deutsche Telekom was accused of breaching contract with Radio Shack. It was no secret that T-Mobile products had been bogging down the success of Radio Shack, so this seemed like the simplest, most efficient and cost effective way to handle the lack of productivity from the big Magenta.
