Several different manufacturers of Android Tablets have announced new lower prices after price cuts and new lower introductory pricing. Tablets from Motorola (Xoom), Toshiba (Thrive),Viewsonic Iconia and ASUS Eee pad all have great features including front facing internal camera, minimum of 1GB system memory 8 – 32 GIGs of on board memory and all feature Tegra 2 chipset dual core processors!

Here is the best part, they all start at 499 and only go down from there. The ASUS Eee pad starts at $399, The Viewsonic at $449, Toshiba at $429 and finally the Xoom at $499. All of these have comparable features, if not better, then the iPad and all come running Honeycomb, Android 3.1 the tablet OS.
