Autodesk who is best known for their awesome software AUTOCAD has designed a sketchbook app that has been out for over a year on the iPad. Well the boys at Autodesk finally got it into gear and have released their very first Android App, sketch book pro. The app is a digital canvas that will allow your finger or aftermarket stylus to become the tool of your desire and will allows up to six layers to be added to the photo. Export to Photoshop support is included with the app.
The HTC Flyer was the first tablet to ship with a stylus and if reports are correct from various sources, there may be additional tablets in the future that also release with the stylus accessory. It would be wise for Autodesk to offer the support for theses stylus’s as that tool could help them gain prominence in the Android world. There are two option available on the market for this tool, a free try-before-you-buy app which is not as feature rich and the pro version which will be available for $5.00.
