Boy everyone is getting in on the Android tablet revolution…including Lenovo! Lenovo just announced The K1 which is aimed at the normal folks and the ThinkPad Tablet which will be aimed at business users. Both tablets will be 10.1” and feature NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processors also, the tablets will ship with Honeycomb 3.1 The ThinkPad tablet will be the first one aimed purely at the business person and will include an optional digitizer pen to caress across a nice sheet of Gorilla glass (scratch resistant of course) across the screen of the tablet.
The business tablet will come with SD card encryption and a corporate controlled app, something sorely needed on business devices. The K1 will feature 32 gigs of internal data to match the dual core goodness and Wi-Fi only Internet access. Lenovo does plan to release a 3g model later on.
