The Chess Chess Android App by Italy Games is an Android Game that is definitely for all the chess fans and chess master’s out there. The game has a great graphics engine with an excellent chess based layout. The game play is seamless in its flow and the virtual feel of the chess game itself makes you feel as if you were actually playing a physical chess game in front of you. The game play features 1 player vs. the computer and 2 players. Although there is no online play or a way to connect to another android member who has the game it would be nice if this option as made available in future updates.
When you open the app you will see the main menu in front of you and you will be able to select from the different kinds of game play modes they have. The two player mode allows you and a friend to play, while the CPU mode allows for one player vs. the computer. When the game begins you will see the chess pieces in line and begin to move according to the rules of the chess game. Even for those who do not know how to play the game the pieces will illustrate the legal moves you are allowed to make once the desired piece is highlighted. Within the game there are options to numerically explain the chess piece moves according to the grid on the board. Other features include a undo or redo moves button, an auto move button in which the CPU decides what piece and where to move it for you, and lastly a switch sides button.
Overall, this is a very fun an entertaining game. At the time of this review The Chess Chess Android App is free. Thumbs Up.
