It is specifically concerned with saving battery life when you hit the 15% threshold for your battery, as it is designed to squeeze as much juice out of the dying battery as possible. It has many built in settings that you can select and customize, which are based on the different kind of profile management for battery saving. The battery saving application will also log every change that is made, log your battery stats, and also log battery use (when the extension of this app is downloaded).

When you open up the app you will be able to see all the different options that are included with this battery saving app. Under the status tab is where you will do most of the customizing for this app. Under this tab you can choose different battery thresholds to enable the JuiceDefender, you can configure apps that you want to be ignored from kill lists, and also ones that perform specific activities t6hat you always want to run. From this tab you will also be able to choose one of the pre-defined profiles or you have the option to select a custom profile and design your own profile for battery management.
