The TubeMate YouTube Downloader Android App by Devian app is a YouTube replacement app over the stock one, with some additional features. The app has a ton of features that the website utilizes a few extra features. Some of those extra features included in the app are: toggling between the desktop version of the website and the mobile version, the option to download or watch the videos as you please, and the ability to share videos on YouTube directly through this app through email, MMS, Facebook, Twitter, or whatever other apps you have installed on the phone that allow the ability to share via those apps.

When you open up the TubeMate YouTube Downloader app it will load and present you with a familiar look as it does look similar to a hybrid between the actual YouTube website and the mobile version. You can search for videos like normal or select any of the featured videos that appear when the app is loaded. When you click the play button to begin the video a dialogue box will open up and ask you whether or not you would like to download or watch the video. Downloading will save the video to the SD card or internal memory if you have it on your phone. Once the video plays it will play in the YouTube mobile app.
