The Phone Tester Android App by Miguel Torres app is unique little app that will analyze different segments of your phone. The app will display and detail information on the following: sensor status, Wi-Fi status, GPS Status, Battery Stats, Multi-touch testing, and system information. This in an excellent all in one tool that can help pinpoint specific hardware or software related issues within the phone you may be experiencing. This is an excellent tool that will accommodate or replace some of the stock items that are included in the stock software. The other features included will analyze and break down the company who manufactures the specific part in the phone (i.e. the accelerometer or the compass)
When you open up the app you will be able to choose from one of the categories that were listed above. Based on what you would like to gather the stats for will determine which one you will open. The multi touch test will register how many touches and multi touches will have been registered on the screen. The battery stats give you the same stats as the stock battery stats unit that comes with android. The Wi-Fi status will list signal strength and MAC address and the GPS status will show how many locks to satellites are registered. The sensor status will detail all the sensors in the phone (accelerometer, compass, magnetic field sensor proximity, light and temperature sensors as well). The properties field will identify the manufacturer of that particular component. The system information will detail the device and OS information (hardware ad software) the phone is currently utilizing.
Overall, this is a great app to have to check your phones statistical usage and properties based on the categories within the app. At the time of this review the Phone Tester Android App is free Thumbs Up.
