Google voice can act as a free visual voicemail replacement for your current telephone number. You can also obtain a Google telephone number and the Google Voice app will be able to make calls based off of that number and manage voicemails as well as text messages that come into the Google Voice number you have registered. Another excellent feature of Google Voice is the ability to make International calls through the Google Voice app at much cheaper or even free rates.

The Google Voice Android App itself is very simply designed and is only meant to handle the specific functions of Google Voice. There is an area where all of you voicemails will be visually displayed, this will be where you can manage all of your voicemails, and you can play, pause, rewind, delete and make call backs to the number who left you the voicemail all from this platform. If you have it set up you also may be able to respond to text messages depending on how you have the account set up. All messages and phone calls will run through your Google Voice number.

Overall, app has some excellent features to help save you minutes and money on international calls, as well as, mange voicemail and text messages! At the time of this review the Google Voice Android App is free. Thumbs up!
