The object of the game is to make it to the finish line while making it through each gate and avoiding obstacles that sill slow you down or make you fall. You are also playing against other snowboarders.

Some of the obstacles include patches of snow that will slow you down, other snowboarders that will make you fall down if you run into them or if they run into you and trees that will make you fall down if you run into them. The controls are accelerometer based and are very responsive. To move your snowboarder to the right tilt your device to the right and to move your snowboarder left tilt your device to the left. The graphics are pretty basic and simple.

Overall, this is a simple snowboarding game for the Android platform that is, at the time of this review in beta and has potential. At the time of this review the Alpine Boarder Android App is free.
