The DroidStats Android App by Michael Ludwig gives you the ability to control your call minutes, number of SMS messages and data traffic. When the app first loads you will need to configure it by entering the amount of call minutes, SMS messages and data that your plan allows for each month. To do this press the menu button on your Android device and then select Settings and then select Monthly Limits. From this menu you can activate a limit by selecting it and then enter the amount that your plan includes for it in the Free section located under each limit. You can also enter the day of the month that your carrier begins each billing cycle from this menu.

Once you have everything configured you can also customize the app with quite a few more options such as monthly usage estimator, notifications, set a warning threshold and more. The app also features a widget so you can check your calls, SMS and data usage from a home screen.

Overall, this is a simple app that will help you keep track of how many minutes, SMS and data you use per month as well as help you stay within your plan’s limits to avoid additional charges. At the time of this review the DroidStats Android App is free. Thumbs Up.
