The Build-a-Lot Android App by Glu Mobile is a real estate based casual strategy game similar to Hotel Mogul. The game features 2 modes of gameplay Career and Casual mode. In Career mode you will need to complete the goals for 35 different levels. Each level has a goal that can consist from a obtaining a certain amount of rental income to owning a certain number of specific houses. In addition to the monthly rent that you receive from each house you can upgrade them a maximum number of 3 times in order to increase your monthly income. You can buy and sell houses as well. In Casual mode your goal is to improve each neighborhood that you have unlocked in Career mode. The goal is achieving a certain amount of money in cash total.

Each house that you build requires a certain amount of materials and workers. You can buy more materials and hire more workers if needed by selecting their individual tabs which are located on the bottom of the screen. There are also tabs for checking your goals, income, building, buying and selling houses. Each tab when selected will bring up a menu located on the left hand side of the screen where you can select a specific action. To select a specific house or building simply press on it once. The first 3 levels of the game are a tutorial which will walk you through how to do all of the actions.

Overall, this is another high quality casual strategy game with great graphics from Glu Mobile. At the time of this review the Build-a-Lot Android App is $3.99. Thumbs Up.
