Wifi Tracker Android App Review
AndroidAppReviewer | Nov 03, 2010 | Comments 0
The Wifi Tracker Android App by Ian Hawkins is a WiFi tracker that scans for hotspots using your Android device’s GPS feature and then saves their location to a file which you can then export to a KML file to Google Earth or use realtime web uploads.
When the app first loads you will need to press the Menu button on your device and then press the Toggle scanning button. The app will then scan for WiFi hotspots near by and place then on a map. The hotspots will be colored coated and marked on the map in your surrounding area. From the Menu tab you can access the Settings by pressing the more button. There are many settings to choose from to enhance the app’s abilities as needed.
Overall, this app works great but it needs an instruction manual of some kind. At the time of this review the Wifi Tracker Android App is $1.56.
