The Yumsters Android App by HeroCraft Ltd is a game for the Android platform. The Yumsters are preparing for the world gardeners championship. The object of the game is to form a fruit eating team of the best and most talented gardeners. You travel the world and complete each level by matching each Yumster with their fruit. The fruit color that matches the Yumster’s color need to be matched up and eaten by that Yumster. There are 2 modes of gameplay Adventure mode and Survival mode. In Adventure mode you play in several different locations all over the world and beat each level for that particular location. In Survival mode you try to get the highest score possible.

This game has quite a few controls and rules for moving the Yumsters. To eat a fruit with the matching colored Yumster, simply select the Yumster with the matching color and drag it over to the fruit and release it. The rule for this move is that the Yumster must be in the correct hole in the ground that is lined up with the fruit so that the Yumster will only encounter fruits of its same color in order to reach the fruit that you are aiming for. If there is a row of the same fruit of the same color, you aim for the farthest fruit in the row for your Yumster to be able to consume all of them. To switch holes in the ground simply select the Yumster you want to move and then select the hole you want it to go in. If there is another Yumster in that hole, they will just move over to the next one.

There is a meter located on the top of the screen that contains fruits and a number by each fruit. This is the number that you will need to consume of that particular fruit in order to complete the level. Once you have consumed the correct number of that particular fruit, the fruit will turn into a coin and you will need to collect it by selecting it.

The graphics for this game are well done and the characters are unique. The main menu consists of different places from all over the world that are placed on individual islands. This is where you select your next location. Each island is themed to a different place in the world and they look great. The controls are easy once you get used to them. The only thing that really needs improvement is the loading time in between levels. It is does not take very long for the next level to load but it can be improved.

Overall, this is a great, unique puzzle/matching game for the Android platform. At the time of this review the Yumsters Android App is #3.15. Thumbs Up.
