Android App Review Source:

What was your inspiration for developing this app?

Woo Games:

FRG was a game idea I’d tinkered with occasionally starting in 2003. The main inspiration was a desire to produce a game where stuff
exploded. FRG for Android came about because of the Android Developer Challenge 2 – I felt I had tinkered enough with the game such that a 3 month development cycle was enough to get the game marketable.

What’s your personal favorite Android App that you did not develop?

Woo Games:

I’m a fan of the camera barcode/picture scanner apps that let me look up prices online. Currently installed on my phone are Snaptell, Google Shopper, and Amazon.

What is your personal favorite feature of this app?

Woo Games:

The whole concept of looking up prices online while browsing at a store is wonderful indeed. Knowing how much I stand to save by not impulse buying has saved me a bit of money on comics since I jumped to Android!

Android App Review Source:

Can we expect any updates to your app in the near future?

Woo Games:

I’m currently working on multiplayer for FRG and I’m trying to take the time to do it right. I expect an initial release beginning of April 2010.

Android App Review Source:

Do you have any new apps that will be on the Android Market soon that we should look out for?

Woo Games:

I have a casual puzzle game in the planning stages. But first, multiplayer FRG.

Android App Review Source:

Do you have any future development plans for Android Tablets?

Woo Games:

Not specifically. Regarding games, I’m not sure if tablets are a good platform for me to focus on. For now they seem to be geared towards the portable media center concept as opposed to any kind of gaming.
