What was your inspiration for developing this app?

WeatherBug:

We wanted to utilize Android’s powerful OS to create a weather experience. We were the first to display the temperature in the notification bar, which is a standard feature with most of the Android apps these days. I also believe our weather alerting is top notch.

What’s your personal favorite Android App that you did not develop?

WeatherBug:

I have spent many hours build up my towers in Retro Defense, it is a really well done tower defense game.

What is your personal favorite feature of this app?

WeatherBug:

WeatherBug has some really cool features in the map section. You can press and hold to view weather anywhere in the world. You can also easily add new locations by pressing and holding.

Can we expect any updates to your app in the near future?

WeatherBug:

We have just released a new version of our app that allows you to choose background colors for our widgets, which really lets you customize the widgets they way you’d like them to look.

Do you have any new apps that will be on the Android Market soon that we should look out for?

WeatherBug:

No, we are concentrating on making our WeatherBug and WeatherBug Elite apps the best weather choice on Android.

Do you have any future development plans for Android Tablets?

WeatherBug:

One problem with tablets is that they must have the Google Maps API installed to run our application. Many of them do not install the Market and other Google apps to be able to run.
