The Pokanoid Android App by Wavecade is a video-poker with breakout game for the Android platform. The game features 4 modes of gamplay that each have a different number of decks. The object of the game is to break the bricks to expose each card. When you hit the card for a second time the card will fall and if the card will make a combo it will be added to the rest of your hand. There are also powers ups just like in the brick breaker games.

This game is truly unique and fun to play. The graphics are great and the controls are simple and easy to use. You control the paddle with the trackball and the paddle is actually responsive to your aim so you can select specific cards and avoid others if necessary. If you get the stick power up simply press the trackball to release the ball from the paddle. Even if you are not a big poker player you can appreciate this game.

Overall, this is a unique poker game for the Android platform that is really fun to play. At the time of this review the Pokanoid Android App is $0.99 and well worth the price. Thumbs Up.
