The Searchify Android App by Oliver Lan is a multi-function search, translation, calculation and conversion tool for the Android platform. The app integrates with your phone’s Quick Search Box to add more functions. In order for this app to work you will need to enable it in your phone’s settings once it has been installed on your phone.

Here are a few examples of addons that this app work. If you want to know conservions for a cerain amout of something simply enter the amount (for example: 193 pints) and you will get a list of possible conservions that you may need or be looking for. To search for an event in your calendar simply enter the event’s name or the day and time for example, in the search box and you will be able to find the specific event you are looking for. To get a quick translation simply enter translate followed by the word you want to translate and you will recieve different translation results. This feature is powered by Google Translate.

Overall, this app adds multi-function quick search abilites to the Android’s Quick Search Box. Once you install the app you will see a whole list of these abilities. At the time of this review the Searchify Android App is free. Thumbs Up.
