How did you get into developing apps?

I was surprised to find that Android is written in Java, which I had some familiarity with. It took a week of playing around with the SDK to understand how it all worked together and to release a beta of my first app, 4Ever Fall.

What was your inspiration for developing this app?

4Ever Fall is a game I used to love on my TI-83 calculator that I hadn’t seen in a long time. I figured it was about time for that game to make a comeback.

How long did it take to develop the app?

One Design Studios, LLC:

The pre-beta release of 4Ever Fall took only a week to release. From that point, it’s taken months to add to, and upgrade the app. At the time being, focus is on our new application, Current Commodities. No worries though, we’ll come back to 4Ever Fall to make it even better before you know it.

Are there any hidden features to the app?

One Design Studios, LLC:

Some have figured out how to “cheat the system” by… wait.. you’ll have to find out yourself! If you notice in the score board, most scores are in the 50,000-70,000 range. We have a select few that have figured out how to get scores twice that if not higher.

Do you have any future plans for this app?

We’ll probably release more characters, stabilizations, and added features like more sound effects etc.

Do you plan to develop any new apps? If so when can we expect to see them in the Market?

We’ve got our new application, Current Commodities which is currently in Alpha but is available on the Android Market. We also have plans to release an application in the future which will hopefully (if calculations are correct) will be able to assist in predicting future gas prices.
