How did you get into developing apps?
Noble Master Games:
I got fascinated by programming about 20 years ago. You can do incredible things with just a few lines of code. Which other profession would allow you to do that? Also, I always enjoyed creating games more than just playing them (most of the time .

What was your inspiration for developing this app?
Noble Master Games:
Back in the days I was addicted to a game called “Caesar” for Atari computer systems. It wasn’t the popular PC game, but an enhanced clone of Risk with added economy management, population management and more. The game was Public Domain and I believe the developer(s) were German?

How long did it take to develop the app?
Noble Master Games:
About 2.5 months for the initial version. However, we had pictures, text and code available from our Windows, Macintosh and Linux version of the game, so it saved us some work. Game-play updates, addition of new maps, bugfixes etc. kept us busy after our first release.

Are there any hidden features to the app?

Do you have any future plans for this app?
Noble Master Games:
Obviously maintaining the game and providing buxfix releases is an important part of development. Besides from that, we are working on new maps including North America, Asia, Africa and Australia/Pacific. Also, we have an online version slated towards the end of this year/beginning of 2010: Age of Conquest ONLINE. We will probably publish a limited beta version soon for testing.

Do you plan to develop any new apps? If so when can we expect to see them in the Market?
Noble Master Games:
Yes. We are currently building a Multiplayer Engine to streamline development of online games. It’s the Worm Ware engine () which should be completed by middle/end of next year. We do not have any plans besides Age of Conquest Online, but once the engine is up & running it won’t be difficult to pretty much plug in any kind of game that is suited for online gaming. Our next game will most likely be designed for the casual market rather than in the realm of strategy games.
