QwikList Voice Android App Review

The QwikList Voice Android App by Vikas Shah allows you to make a list, send an SMS via Google Voice or add something to your Google Calendar from your Home Screen by speaking into your phone. Please note that if your Android phone does not support the speech to text feature then the voice to text feature of this app will not work on your phone. To use the app you can place it on your Home Screen for easy access, you can choose from a 1×1 and 2×2 widget sizes. The 1×1 widget only allows you to open the app and record speech. With the 2×2 widget you can also press the arrow key to scroll between all of your lists. See all of the instructions in details on Vikas Shah’s website here: http://www.shahlab.org/home/apps.

Using the app is pretty easy. The ability to have the app as a widget on the Home Screen in 2 different sizes gives options which is pretty cool as well. Another cool feature is the ability to scan an item’s bar code and add it to your shopping list or any other feature that the app offers.

Overall, the app works well and if you are looking for a speech to text tool, this one is worth checking out.  At the time of this review the QwikList Voice Android App is $0.99. Thumbs Up.
