How did you get into developing apps?

I ran across the first Android Developer Challenge when browsing. This got me interested in Android.

What was your inspiration for developing this app?

Coeus Systems Inc.:

I’ve been developing software for over twenty years and always wanted to develop games. This was a low cost adventure in a new market that had potential. I wanted to develop a game that my kids would like to play, and also be able to help with. So my first app was called “IHide UFind Toys”. This has turned into a series called “IHide UFind”. I had lot of success with the first game so I made three more called “IHide UFind Collections”, “IHide UFind Colors”, and “IHide UFind Extreme”. My family and friends have helped me make these games, and I’ve even taken them to the iPhone.

How long did it take to develop the app?

Coeus Systems Inc.:

My first app call “IHide UFind Toys” took me about a month. I had to learn Java and Android. I had to setup, and take the pictures that I use for the game.

Are there any hidden features to the app?

Coeus Systems Inc.:

No hidden features, but the next game that will be available in a couple of weeks will have a bonus feature on one of the pages.

Do you have any future plans for this app?

Coeus Systems Inc.:

I have made ten games so far for the Android platform, and seven for the iPhone. I’ve had several emails asking me to make another game for the “IHide UFind” series. I will have a new holiday game for Android in about two weeks called “IHide UFind Christmas”. It will have a bonus feature on one of the pages.

Do you plan to develop any new apps? If so when can we expect to see them in the Market?

Coeus Systems Inc.:

I will definitely be making more apps for Android. Like I said earlier, I have a new app coming out in about two weeks. This will be the last app this year. I have a couple non game apps for Android I will be working on for the first part of next year.
