Pinball Android App Review

The Pinball Android App by Nico and Manu is a 3 table pinball game for the Android. You can choose from a 60s themed table, Android Land and Invaders table. The 60s table features 3 flippers and a few ramps with what looks like an old school comic type of theme. The Android Land theme is really cool; it features several Android heads that you can hit to score points as well as quite a few Android phone and Google icons placed through out the table. The Invaders table looks like a game of Invaders. You can hit the different colored aliens for points; once you hit them they will disappear.
The graphics and animations are well done for this game. The controls are simple, to launch the ball simply press and hold until the launcher is all the way back and then take your finger off of the display screen to release it. To use the flippers simply tap on the display screen. There is an advertisement on the top of the screen, but it is not intrusive and does not effect the game play which is good.
Overall, this is a great pinball game for the Android. It could use some more tables but it’s great for a free pinball game. Thumbs Up.

Good review. My Sep 2010 download has more tables and is still free. I’m quite addicted to Android Land! One feature you didn’t mention is the vibration feedback when the ball is hit hard – a nice ‘touch’!
