Mundu IM Android App Review

The Mundu IM Android App by Geodesic is a instant messaging application that includes several different messaging clients including:

• Yahoo! Messenger
• MSN
• GTalk
• XMPP
• AIM
• ICQ

• When you first load the app you will be asked to add your IM accounts by pressing the menu button on your phone. Select your IM client from the drop down list and then enter your user name, local alias and password. Once you add all of your IM accounts you can select which ones you want to sign in with and then login.

  The user interface of this app is very easy to use, simply scroll up and down through your buddy list either using your finger on the display screen or the track ball and select a buddy to chat with. You can change your status at the top of the screen, go back to log in and out of your different accounts by selecting the Accounts icon on the left hand side of the screen or you can view your chats by selecting the chats icon on the right hand side of your screen.

  A really cool feature for this application is that it runs in the background which means that you do not have to have it loaded on your screen in order to use it.  To completely log out of all of your IM accounts you will need to exit the application completely. At this point the app will not longer be running in the background.

  Overall, this is a great IM app for the Android. At the time of this review the Mundu IM Android App is $3.00. Thumbs Up.
