The OnTheRoad Android App by OnTheRoad Inc. is a global traveling application that documents your trips worldwide and then allows you to share them with your friends and family. When the app first loads you will need to create a free account which will give you your own profile on their server. The profile looks like your basic social network profile only this one features your pictures, videos and information about your trips.

A really cool feature about this app is the many options you have to upload your information. To send information, pictures or videos to your profile page you can enter them right on your profile page or e-mail, SMS or IM them. They support a few chat clients for the IM feature. You can also plan a trip with the app’s Trip Planning feature which is also pretty cool.

Overall, this is a great app and a cool free service that comes with it for sharing your trip’s with your friends and family. At the time of this review the OnTheRoad Android App is free. Thumbs Up.
