It’s Official: The HTC Tattoo the first low-cost Android Phone

The HTC Tattoo is the first low cost Android Phone which is set to be shipped in early October 2009 for European carriers. Others will have to wait until after the initial launch, no official dates have been released yet from HTC. For North America, a CDMA version of the HTC Tattoo is said reach possibly T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon carriers at some point after the initial European launch.You may have heard recently of an HTC Click that was supposed to hit the market claiming the same to be same first low cost Android Phone, well this is it with a new name and here are new specs compared to the HTC Click:

- 3G
- GPS WiFi
The main differences between the two phones are the sizes of the display screens, replacement of the trackball and the new customization feature. Here is what it will look like:
