The Bedside (Night Clock) Android App by Daniel Velazco is an alarm clock app for the Android. When the app first loads it shows a dimmed clock featuring the time, date and percentage of your phone’s battery life. When the app is opened it turns off all sound and vibrate notifications on your phone except for calls. The app uses the accelerometer feature which enables you to view the clock in portrait or landscape mode. There is also a flashlight feature that you can access from the main menu (press the menu button on your phone to get to the main menu).

Overall, it’s a basic alarm with a cool feature for those of you who use your cell phone for an alarm and don’t want to be bothered by e-mail, text, etc. notifications while sleeping. I would suggest to the developer to add some more colors or something to make the app more customizable. At the time of this review the Bedside (Night Clock) Android App is $1.49. Thumbs Up.
