DroidAnalytics Android App Review

The DroidAnalytics Android App by Nico and Manu is a Google Analytics application for the Android. When the app first loads you are asked to enter your account information. Here I noticed that the log in screen does not flip to horizontal view when you are typing in your information. Once you are logged in a list of your website profiles will be displayed.

Once you have selected a website profile you can view your data with several options. On the bottom of the display screen there are 8 icons, here are their functions:

  • General Overview of stats
  • Hourly Stats
  • Current Yearly Stats
  • Previous Year Stats
  • Past 4 Years
  • Select a Specific Date Range
  • Tables for: Top Keywords, Top Countries, Top Sources of Traffic, Top Search Engines, Top Referring sites, Top Browsers
  • Option to switch between different website profiles

You can access the Settings options while in a website profile by pressing the menu button on the phone. One suggestion is to have the option to have actual graphic graphs display the data.

Overall, this is an amazingly powerful application. Navigating through the different options is fairly easy and the amount of information that you have at your fingertips is simply enough reason to check out this app. At the time of this review the DroidAnalytics Android App is €0.99 which is approximately $1.38.
