The RecallCheck Android App by Agorasys is a barcode scanner application for the Android. This app allows you to scan the barcodes of food products and check with the US FDA (Food and Drug Administration) for recalls by and item’s UPC (Universal Product Code) number.

The app has two capabilities, you can either enter the product’s UPC manually or you can scan the product’s bar code by using your phone’s camera.  Both entering in the UPCs manually and scanning the UPCs is very easy to do and the scanner is very responsive. None of the food items that I scanned had any recalls.

Overall, this is a great app and can be pretty useful. At the the time of this review the RecallCheck Android App is $5.00.
