The USA TODAY Android App by USA TODAY brings you the latest news stories, scores, weather and photos from USA TODAY right to your Android. When the app first loaded I was pretty impressed with the quality of the graphics and the easy to use user interface. There are 5 tabs on the top of the screen: Headlines, Scores, Weather, Pictures and Snapshots.

To view the content in any tab you will need to have your keyboard in the closed position. You can navigate through the tabs and content by either using your finger on the display screen or by using the track ball. The Headlines tag displays top news, news, money, sports and life category. The stories are presented in lists with short descriptions, if you want to read the full story, simply select it. The Scores tab displays NFL, MLB, NBA, NCAAF and NCAAB scores. Each game for the day is listed under each category with teh game times if the game has not started yet. The Weather tab displays your local weather from The Weather Channel. To change your location, press the menu button on your phone and select the Edit Locations option. The Pictures tab displays thumbnail images that you can select to enlarge for several categories. The Snapshots tab displays news, sports, money and life categories polls which you can vote and read through other user’s replies on the topic or question. You can see screen shots of all of these tabs below.

Overall, this is a great app for keeping you in the know when you are on the go. At the time of this review the USA TODAY Android App is free. Thumbs up.
