The ufoHunter Android App by CodeChimps is a 2D space shooter game for the Android. When you first load the app I recommend that you take the tutorial by selecting the “How to Play” button. From here you will be taken to the CodeChimps blog where you will be given the tutorial. When you are ready to play you will be asked to select a level. Basically you need to defend your ship by dodging the incoming asteroids and shooting the UFOs. You can shoot both the asteroids and UFOs but you will want to save your ammo for the UFOs since the ammo is not unlimited and you have to wait until the bar regenerates before you can shoot again. The controls make the game interesting especially as you get the hang of them and advance into higher levels. At the time of this review the ufoHunter Android App costs £1.15 which is approximately $1.75. There are two versions that you can download of this game, the paid one and a Demo for free if you want to try it out before making a purchase. Overall, the graphics are well done and this game has a lot of potential even though it is pretty good as is. Thumbs up.
