Sky Map Android App Review

The Sky Map Android App by Sky Map Team is a star map that uses the Android’s GPS capabilities to display planets and constellations. When the app loads, point the back of the phone to the sky and a display will appear on the screen displaying the planets and constellations in that direction. You can point the phone in different directions to the sky to look around. This app is awesome and the developers promise more features to come soon. I highly recommend that you download this app, even if you are not into astrology just witnessing the beginning of the potential that the Android has is worth the time to download this app. Well done Sky Map Team, thumbs up.

    Just got my android phone and this was one of the first apps I downloaded. Used it tonight and it is AWESOME! I am now the COOL mom!

    It’s pretty cool, but to try to match it to the sky real time is quite frankly, really disappointing. Best you can do is try to find the moon and go from there.
