The Restaurant Guide Android App by BooRah is a restaurant guide application featuring user ratings and restaurant descriptions. The app uses the Android’s GPS capability to give you restaurants in your area which is a very cool feature. When you first load the app you have two choices, Restaurants Near You or Top Restaurants Nearby. The Restaurants Near You button will take you to a Google Map view or you can use the List View tab. The Google Map view works the same as it does on your computer and from the List View tab when you select a restaurant you get:

• A link to the restaurant’s website.
• User ratings.
• A call button to call the restaurant right from the app.
• Submit your own review option.
• Tell the developer that something is wrong with the information. There is a pre-set list to choose from.
• A camera button to upload a picture of the restaurant.

The Top Restaurants Near By button gives you the same as the Restaurants Near You button minus the features listed above. Instead you get a search button and a button that will find your location that does the same as the Map tab for the Restaurants Near You menu. You also have a Detail View tab which gives you the same information as selecting a restaurant from the List View tab from the Restaurants Near You menu. A few redundant options but overall this app gets a thumbs up.
