The Voice Recorder Android App by Mamoru Tokashiki turns your Android into voice recorder. This app is very easy to use, all you need to do to record something is press the record button and then press it again to finish the recording.  Once your recording is finished give it a title and you can either send it as a file in an e-mail or save it to your SDK card. The main screen of the app displays your recordings. From here you can select a recording to play, send, set as a ringtone, edit the title or delete. The quality of the recording is pretty good. Overall this app gets a thumbs up.

    this application purports to save recording as ringtones, and you can press a button that says ringtone, but where in the contacts can you actually access these saved ‘ringtones’ to assign to specific contacts?

    I made good recordings but don’t know how to transfer and save it on my Windows computer
