The Steel Android App by kolbysoft is a web browser UI that is based on the Android Webkit. This web browser is a taste test for what the Android platform has in store for other browsers in the future. Since this app is basically a demo, you can’t set is as the default browser yet. If you do use the browser that the G1 comes with when you have this app installed, you will be prompted to choose from either browser every time you view a new web page. Some features that Steel offers are:

• Rotate your screen to switch from Portrait or Landscape view
